Nation's Favourite Park Award 2022
awards us 'Local Favourite' status....
In summer 2022, Castle Park was one of two Colchester parks nominated (Highwoods Country Park is the other) nominated in the Fields in Trust (www.fieldsintrust.org/) national award over the summer, the 'Nation's Favourite Local Park'.
Thank you so much for all of your votes!
We didn't quite make the top spot, but Castle Park was one of a number of parks up and down the country to be awarded 'Local Favourite' status for coming in the top 20% of nominations (Congratulations to High Woods Country Park who were also a Local Favourite).
